I'm really happy with this re-scaled modification of the Daily Bugle set and I think it looks much better in my Lego city. Although, as I said, you'll only need 2 different types of parts. There's also an extra parts list in XML format to use on Bricklink. They come in both normal resolution and high-resolution (in three parts). The instructions are a 524-page PDF generated from Studio. Bursting with details and spectacular scenes involving 25 classic characters from the Marvel Universe, this 3,772-piece building, measuring over 32 in. It features a 4-story interior that allows you to explore the offices. The iconic Daily Bugle office block provides the backdrop for classic comic-book action featuring an all-star cast of Marvel’s most celebrated heroes and villains. Thus, they can still be built alongside it. The LEGO Spider-Man 76178 Daily Bugle set is available to order here on Amazon for 300, which is 14 off the standard price. The taxi cab, spider car, Sandman support, Green Goblin glider, and the minifigure accessories were not used in the MOC. I think you should still be able to have it in an exploded state however, I did not try that yet. I also lowered the antenna slightly.Īdditionally, I fixed that exploded window. The original one was too wide and tall for the building's scale, so I lowered it and wrapped it around the corner of the roof for a streamlined look. This sign at the top is the most noticeable change. However, I got them for around $4 on Bricklink and think it's worth the expense. Most of these pieces will be fairly hidden from the outside, so you could use other colors from your collection. You'll need 1x1 bricks (x30) and 1x1 plates (x51), both in light bluish-gray. Although, I did manage to minimize the extra pieces needed to just 2 types. I attempted to make this an alternative build however, I needed some extra pieces to make everything line up properly. In order to minimize the extra parts needed, the floor on the right half is crumbled up but, it could easily be fixed up with some extra parts. The new floor (2nd) is detailed with some of the reporter's level furnishings. The towering new Daily Bugle is the largest LEGO set in the Marvel universe (so far) New York state of mind Filled with authentic city sights, like the news stand, taxi and water tower. The 4th floor is on jumpers, but you have to remove the exterior rails to detach it. The middle three floors (2nd, 3rd, 4th) are connected, along with their front windows. This version is a little less modular than the original set (due to the exterior rail pieces), but it is still really easy to access the inside, thanks to the removable front window design. This gives the skyscraper the appearance of a much taller building than when it was 2 on 2. I set 4 "skinny" floors on top of 1 "fat" floor. The floors on the Daily Bugle are just TOO tall! This modification MOC will turn the original set's 4 floors into 5, making it fit much better with the other buildings in your Lego city!
